Shelley - Site ManagerShelley has worked as a counsellor in women's health followed by family work at Copeland House prior to joining the team at Home and Family. Shelley brings a commitment to a process of discovery and a commitment to time and thought as she engages with people, their life stories and the challenges they face. She is also committed to establishing compassionate connections with a broad range of families from diverse life experiences. She enjoys working with families and couples. Shelley is a Famiy Court Counsellor and has a Certificate in Communication Skills and a Bachelor of Social Practice in Counselling. She brings with her a breadth of knowledge and understanding from her own life experience, her training, and the many contributions from colleagues and clients.

Christine - CounsellorChristine graduated from Manukau Technical Institute with a Diploma in Counselling. She also has a Diploma in Psychology and is currently completing a Graduate Diploma in Counselling at UNITEC.
Christine enjoys working with a wide range of clients and issues. She believes that counselling offers people the opportunity to stop and reflect on the influence of problems in their lives and to be assisted in seeking a positive change.
She is married with three teenage sons.

After spending twenty plus years in Steiner Education with her areas of involvement ranging from administration, parenting,eurythmy to eurythmy teaching, Heather has recently retrained in counselling at Massey University and Unitec where she gained a Post Graduate Diploma in Guidance Studies and a Graduate Diploma in Counselling. Heather has always been passionate about people: their lives, relationships and how they communicate. She also has a strong commitment to healthy family functioning. Heather beleives strongly that we all have the capacity to live rich and fulfilling lives and wants to be active in working collaboratively with people to improve their situations towards this goal. She is married and has three adult children and two grandchildren.

Bea has a Bachelor of Counselling and her interest in counselling came from her time spent in the UK in 2001 when she was involved with women's workshops and empowerment circle's. She facilitates women's empowerment circles to help grow a supportive women's community in Auckland.
Bea uses a range of approaches to assist clients to overcome difficulties in their lives. She works with children from intermediate age and adults. Having been married for over 21 years Bea has a strong passion for working with couples to assist them in working through conflict and developing a supportive relationship.
Bea can also provide budgeting advice aligned to counselling therapy.

Stefanie is a counsellor trained in social work, family therapy, supervision, sand play therapy and expressive art therapy. She comes originally from Bonn by the beautiful Rhine river in Germany and has also lived and trained in San Francisco, California.
She is married and lives with three great and lively kids aged 2 to 12. She lives in Titirangi from where she also runs her private practise.
Stefanie has worked in a variety of settings including CYFS call centre, Sports Therapy with kids with hyperactivity and adults with mental health issues and advocacy work. She has also facilitated self development groups in Germany.
Stefanie feels very passionate about her work and uses the expressive arts and sandtray therapy extensively in her counselling practice. She enjoys supporting people in healing from trauma and abuse and to strengthen them in their ability to create fuller and happier lives and relationships.
