Our Counsellors

We are proud to have a professional and experienced staff of dedicated counsellors working for Home and Family.

As a team they enable us to offer a diverse range of counselling specialities and programmes, and as individuals provide each client with the very best that counselling and the social services has to offer.

Most hold degrees in counselling; are registered members of the NZAC (New Zealand Association of Counsellors Inc.); and are accredited with the Family Court.

The Society also provides for ongoing professional training and in-service opportunities in the areas of therapeutic practice for all its counsellors.

Our team is headed up by our Director, Mary, herself a highly qualified social worker.
