Parenting Through Separation
This is a free information programme run by Home and Family Counselling that has been designed by the Ministry of Justice for parents considering separation or going through separation.
This is 4 hour one day programme that is usually run on a Saturday from 9 AM - 2 Pm with a lunch break in between.
Ideally both parents attend the programme but not at the same time. Children do not attend. The participants do not need to be referred by anyone and registration can be done by just calling Home and Family Counselling at 630 8961 etx 0.
The programme focusses on ways to achieve the most amicable separation for all concerned. It features an informative video in addition to a discussion which highlights the needs of children during separation.
