Supporters groups
Home and Family has two supporters' groups - one for the Mt Eden services and one for our North Shore activities. These groups that host a variety of fundraising activities to financially support our counselling work as well as providing 'hands on' help as volunteers.

Home and Family, Supporters Group, Mt Eden
The Home and Family Support Group, associated with Mt Eden, formed in July 1994 with Diana Fenwick as the inaugural chairperson. Diana was succeeded by Wendy Jeffrey, and in turn Jo Lusk followed by Marian Cornwall. The current committee has carried on the tradition of organising creative fundraising events with an emphasis on fun!
Over the years the Group has held garden parties, auctions, film nights and bridge days as well as providing catering services.
The first fundraising event of 2007 raised over $13,000, providing many hours of counselling service for the community.

Home and Family Supporters Group, North Shore
The North Shore Supporters Group formed in September 2003 at the same time the north shore counselling service began. So far this year the Lake House Champagne Party and movie evenings have raised over $14,500. Eileen Bandcroft says the committee is keen to make sure the North Shore community is aware of the services of the new branch and the need for the community support.
